Looking back on some of my most unexpected real estate moments of the year.

Launching Wildernest Cabins

After three years of planning and construction, we finally opened Wildernest Cabins this fall. My husband, in-laws, and I transformed a unique property on Duluth's North Shore, designing and building six intimate cabins with private saunas, gas fireplaces, and woodland views. Watching our first guests arrive and fall in love with the experience we've created has been one of the most rewarding experiences of the year!

Selling a Geo-Dome

With fewer than 100 geodesic domes in the Twin Cities, these architectural gems rarely hit the market. When one did, I had the privilege of helping my buyers navigate multiple offers to secure this truly one-of-a-kind home. There's nothing quite like the thrill of finding the perfect property for clients who appreciate something extraordinary.

Negotiating Over Friendsgiving Dinner

Real estate doesn't stop for the holidays, even for the cranberry sauce. When negotiations on a deal came down to the wire on the very night I was hosting Friendsgiving, my colleague and friend Lisa and I hammered out the final details between courses. Our clients were thrilled. Our dinner guests? Maybe less so. But that's the beauty of working with people you trust - sometimes business and friendship happen at the same table.

Getting Vulnerable with My Peers

This year, I joined the Keller Williams Agent Leadership Council - a small group of agents who do something most of us avoid: we open our books to our entire brokerage every month. We share our progress toward goals, discuss market trends, and hold each other accountable. It's been humbling, challenging, and incredibly rewarding to grow alongside agents committed to transparency and excellence and I am excited to join the ALC again in 2026.

My Best Year Yet

I'm incredibly proud to share that 2025 was my best year on record. I had the honor of working with more clients than ever before, and each transaction reminded me why I love what I do.

To every client who trusted me with one of life's biggest decisions, every colleague who collaborated with integrity, and every friend and family member who sent a referral or left a review, THANK YOU. Your support is what makes this work possible, and I'm deeply grateful.

Here's to a 2026 filled with even more unexpected moments worth celebrating.
